![]() ![]() As I previously mentioned, the weather was perfect and we very much enjoyed our delicious lunch of pizza today. Jasmine promptly replaced it and politely apologized for what happened. She got the attention of Jasmine (she became our “secondary” table server) who was serving the restaurant’s customer who chose to sit outside the restaurant on this beautiful sunny afternoon, including us. Our “initial” table server was Marilin who took our order and delivered our 2 glasses of liquid refreshments. Nothing is perfect in this world, of course. However, I have ordered this same pizza from this same restaurant before, so judging from my past experience, I believe that I will also be enjoying this as well. ![]() I can’t give a taste review of this pizza yet as I don’t plan on eating a slice or two of this pizza until probably tomorrow. Mmmm, so good! We also ordered one Margherita Pizza to take home. We would make a great pizza for sure, a truly artisanal product. A decade ago, when we opened our little pizza joint in the Town and Country Village, we did so with simple goals and honest ambitions. Your taste buds will be rewarded with the delicious crunchy pizza crust, and also with the melted creamy cheese that it is counter balanced by the thinly-sliced prosciutto’s saltiness and the generous amount of the mild-tasting grated cheese that is generously covering the top of the pizza as you take your first bite. Howie’s Artisan Pizza recently celebrated its tenth anniversary serving Palo Alto and the Stanford community. It is a little bit more expensive than the usual home-delivered pizza of similar size that I am used to, but it is worth it. We ordered prosciutto with arugula pizza that is priced at $26. 6.00 18.00 Anchor California Lager, San Francisco A superbly balanced session beer. I am guessing there is a better pizza restaurant out there, but until we find that other pizza place, this is our favorite. Menu for Howies Artisan Pizza Main Menu Wine & Spirits Draught Beer Firestone Pivo Pilsner, Paso Robles Classic pale golden Pilsner with just a hint of hops. My wife and I went back to Howie’s Artisan Pizza in Palo Alto, California for the “nth time.” As far as we are concerned, they serve the best pizza in the San Francisco Bay Area. ![]()
